All camps are half-day morning for Animal Kingdom and Blast off Rockets
(9:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.)

Catapults and Backyard Ballista
June 21 – 25 (9:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.)
Grades 1 – 6
$270 Full day; $149 Half day

Throw things….really, really far. Come join us to build catapults, cannons,
and potato guns. We’ll explore force and motion. Water balloons, flying disks,
and marshmallows will be flying everywhere. Our Giant Masher will be there
to smash small cans and cauliflower. Make your own wooden trebuchet to
launch objects in your own back yard

Science Matters’ Animal Kingdom
July 12 – 16
Grades 1 – 6
$149 Half day 9:15-12:15
Explore the wonderful Earth and all her wonderful creatures. From the microscopic
to the ancient; from reptiles to insects this camp is for those who love nature
and the creepy crawlers in them. Enter the dissection lab and dissect a worm.
We’ll explore the fossil record for creatures that lived a long time ago and
make our own modern day fossil. We’ll also explore some of the forces that
shape the Earth – tectonic plates, volcanoes, and weather. We’ll make our own
weather stations and collect worldwide data.

Blast off Rockets
July 26 – 30
Grades 1 – 6
$149 Half day 9:15-12:15

Space & Flight. Have a BLAST discovering space! Explore the stars and
constellations as you take an out-of-this world sky tour in our homemade
planetarium (Parents invited). Prepare for lift-off as you build and launch your
own rocket while learning about Newton’s Laws of Motion. Use your astronaut
wits and come join us on our mission through outer space!
