Fun with Digital Photography

Join Brandi Pelz in learning the basics of digital photography. Learn about the
functions of your camera, composition, lighting, downloading, editing and
saving your images. Everyone can create a magnificent photo, join us to learn how.
(Each student is responsible for bringing his or her own digital camera.)
Cooking with Jerry

Jerry is back In this hands-on program with a whole new set of menu items, students
cook up a storm while learning kitchen safety, nutrition and cooking techniques.
Knitting with Ms. K

Teen Knitting (Grades 6 – 9)

Learn to knit or improve your current skill level! From casting on to making
holes in your knitting (on purpose), this camp offers something for the beginner
to the more advanced knitter. Each student receives a pair of knitting needles
and a skein of yarn.

Young Ninjas will learn martial art skills and weapons training, and engage in
challenges that include Ninja Dodgeball, Taekwondo Olympics, Ninja Warrior
obstacle courses, and Samurai Sword battles.

All 9 Weeks of Summer Blast June 7 thru August 6
Come explore with us. Help weave daring tales straight from fantasy wherein children become Heroes and build their own legends! The will solve puzzles, overcome challenges, brainstorm ideas, answer riddles, and enact daring sword fights. Campers will work together to create an adventure in this interactive storytelling game designed to help develop self-esteem, respectful communication, team-building and creative problem-solving skills.
Week one (June 7th - June 11th): This is just a basic fantasy game to get the ball rolling.
Week two (June 14th - June 18th): Option (1) your basic fantasy game, Option (2) a higher difficulty level mythology focused game
Week Three (June 21st - June 25th): Option (1) your basic fantasy game, Option (2) a higher difficulty level history focused game
Week Four (June 28th - July 2): Option (1) your basic fantasy game, Option (2) a girls only game
Week Five (July 6th - July 9th): Option (1) your basic fantasy game, Option (2) a higher difficulty level with the ability to play higher power level characters
Week Six (July 12th - July 16th): Option (1) your basic fantasy game, Option (2) a science fiction focused game
Week Seven (July 19th - July 23rd): Option (1) your basic fantasy game, Option (2) a girls only game
Week Eight (July 26th - July 30th): Option (1) your basic fantasy game, Option (2) A villains game. Has your child ever wanted to be on the bad guys team? This is their chance.
(Option 2 will need a special signature from a guardian on the day of the adventure if the villains game is being run)
Week Nine (Aug 2 - Aug 6th): Your basic fantasy game to end it all up.

Supervised Lunch is free if you sign up for a full day. $25/week for half-day add on. If you sign up for a full day at Summer Blast, supervised lunch is Free!
